The Brief:
As a small, independent business it can be hard work raising awareness and your profile within key markets. So we joined forces with General Factota to refine their message. This improved communications with both customers and suppliers.
Another part of the challenge was to increase their supplier base for product sourcing. This we achieved by researching unique and beautiful suppliers and securing non-proforma accounts, also improving our cash flow.
And finally, it was a challenge but we successfully improved their access to quick, up to the minute, business data.
The Action:
We reviewed and audited business processes and communications. Then built a bespoke strategy that would support management and growth plans.
One of the most enjoyable parts of the brief was to design branded communication for all internal and external comms. Our designs have been used across all software and social channels and we’re particularly proud of our gold embossed postcards. With elephants on!
And due to remote working, we integrated efficient processes and platforms to assist with the day-to-day management. This was done by using HubSpot, free customer data software, and keeping clear inbox and folders for client and supplier contacts.
The Results:
Profitability has increased. Each team member works to their strengths, and management no longer need to spend hours handling administration. And there’s clear and easy project time tracking,
Having moved General Factota to a cloud based, data secure, branded business – our trade account status was elevated. Amazing when we went on to open more and more exclusive new accounts.
Finally, we introduced Xero Accounting. Which means General Factota is year-end ready, with invoices and bills that are company branded. Showing prompt and clear communication with both clients and suppliers.
